6745 power steer fluid ?

My 6745 steering doesn't feel very good.

First check is to look at power steer fluid and replace.
But I have no idea where to start.

Does the power steer system use standard STOU oil (same oil that goes into trans & engine) ?

Where do I drain, refill power steer fluid ?
Is there a filter that should be replaced ?

I've got two 6745's here.
One appears to have red ATF fluid in the power steer reservoir (sitting in front of the radiator) and the other has a clear oil (perhaps STOU).
Both are low and need to be refilled.
Keen to hear other people's recommendations as to fluid type, filter location.

They use ATF and the only filter is in the top of the tank where you fill it.

The other 6745 appears to have STOU in the power steer tank.
Is that an acceptable option ?
Just wondering why someone would have put that in.

If I'm to drain the STOU and put ATF in, are there any special tips for draining and refilling ?
There is only a very small amount of STOU in there, so tempted just to tip ATF in on top.

After a lot of reading this is what I've found.

The Zetor power steer can use either ATF or STOU.
ATF is preferred as it's viscosity remains constant when outside temperature changes. STOU tends to get thicker in cold weather making the power steer less responsive.

There is a simple metal screen and a large magnet built into the filler cap. The return fluid flows through this screen and magnet before dropping into the tank.

The 6745 with STOU in the power steer is used solely for my hay baler, so never sees cold weather. So I'll likely just top up the STOU.

The 6745 with ATF in it is my year round tractor, so I'll top it up with ATF.

On both tractors I will paint onto the top of the power steer tank the fluid type that it is filled with.

On 10w/30 STOU we lost all power steering on the 5245 in winter. Hydraulic oil ISO VG 21 (very thin) or ATF II is recommended. Because of availability, in the field ATF is preferred. Because of price, the factory filled it with VG 21 oil.
