Hello guys I have a problem with the start up of the tractor.
The problem has to do with fuel lift pump I think which I had replaced with brand new the last week as one engineer said that was the problem.
The pump seems to be blocked after 2-3days of no start up of the tractor and below I will write why I think that.
If you go to start the tractor it works with the fuel tha is after the pump and then is turn of.
After I have to apply pressure air ,from a tank I have,to the hose before the fuel lift pump and then it seems tha the pump is unblocked and fuel can pass if I press the helper.
Is there any possible solution???
The screw under the fuel lift pump needs any setup ???
Do I have to screw it???

Lift pump, do you mean the manual lift pump, or the lift pump that is driven from the camshaft of the fuelpump ?

And are you sure its a pump problem, not a clogged line ?

try taking off one line to the tank, and blow in it with an airgun of the shop compressor (dont forget to take the filler cap off, or air pressure will build up in the tank, which will push the fuel out a second after you take the air gun off.)

Allways clear a line in reverse: from fuel pump back to the tank, or youll blow it in tighter.

If that cures it for just a while, flush the fuel tank and check the banjos. Objects that have blocked the hole of a banjo bolt of tractors of Zetorworld members through the years are: A pea, a fly, a flake of a raincoat.

That pump I mean...
This happens every 2-3 days if I dont try to start it when I apply air from the hose before that pump it seems to unblocked and I can start the tractor I dont think is a blocked hose cause this happens every time. ..

Also I cant find any leak ...if it was took air from somewhere shouldnt I found any leak???

Cant detemin any definate cause from what you tell... but the pic you show, is a manual pump WITH an injection driven pump.

If all that is replaced, go find the problem somewhere else: does it help if you prime with the manual pump before starting ? then its an air problem.

Your liftpump sucks air. You have a minor airleakage between the tank and the liftpump. The fuel flows back to the tank in a day or so. This might be your problem and is a classical Zetor problem. There is plenty of ideas how to fix the problem in this forum.
Change all the hoses and dont forget the one from the injectors backflow to the injectionpump.

Thanks hazze;)
Renze for what you asked if it helps if i use the manual pump no it doesnt as the pump seems to be sucked when i try to use it

if Your manual lift pump is sucked in and you cant operate it. you have a blockage somwhere in the system leading to the pump.

If there is a blockage between the tank and the lift-pump it most likely will be in the 90 dg. metal tube just coming up from the tank. Loosen the hose coming from the tank at the lift-pump and blow. If you hear the bubling noise from the tank there is no blockage.

Forterra the blockage you say is from tank to the lift pump of after the lift pump?

Hazze when i blow should i have the fuel cap open?
If is blocked and with the blow is gonna unblocked i wont heare any noise?

Thanks for your help anyway.
Right here i am not at village where is the tractor so i cant try your tips maybe at friday i can go.

when i had this problem because of clogged filter and glass bowl, because the dieselfuel had waxed out because of Extreme Cold temperatures causing filters and the glass bowl to clog shut. then my lift pump where sucked in and didnt work. had to take the little metal filter in the glass bowl to get it going so i got it home to the garage.

Yes please, take off the fuel tank lid, espessially if you use a compressor.

If you blow more compressed air into the tank than the vent cap can handle, it will push the fuel out (suction pipe is below the fluid level) as soon as you take the compressor pistol out of the hose. Within a second, the fuel is at the end of the hose and then you have to run to the other side to unscrew the cap, which is enough time to create a mess.

Guys here is the tractor.

I blow from the 1 hose to tank it didnt seemed to be blocked i heard a bubbling noise but the hose was very dirty from inside and i cleaned it.
i changed the filter 2 which was enough dirty and also i changed the basic filter but it was clear .

And also i blow air with compressor from the hose 3 and i had open the screw 4.the fuel lift pump seemed to be blocked and as soon as blow air it was throw out from screw 4 fuel.is it normal the fuel lift pump to be blocked???
i forget to tell that before all these when i started tge tractor after 7 days it was started but after 10 seconds it stopped and the manual pump was sucked in.

Tomorrow i will try again to start it but in the case that it will work i cant be sure that its ok the next weak i wiil know for sure.

Those inline filters are known to let air in. The banger racers with their Ford V6 engines, as well as my turbodiesel buggy, we threw them out of the line because they let so much air in.

Do not use the type of filter yor picture shows. The filter type Filter King with a water trap is far better if the genuin Zetor filter is a problem. Disasamble your lift pump and give it a check. Is the piston with the one way valve running smothly a.s.o. A new lift pump is not that expensive.

Hazze the lift pump is brand new...
Today i started the tractor and after 30 secs stopped then i simply unscrewed the manual pump and without pumping started and i screw the manual pump and work well:mad:

I also got the inline filter out
