I have read from a number of posts on this site that a special oil should be used for the power steering system on the 7211. I have been using Universal tractor oil i.e. the same oil that it used as engine oil in the steering system for some time now. The power steering has been working fine and I have had no problems. I am just wondering if I am doing any harm by using this oil.

Also can anyone describe how you disassemble the centrifugal oil filter on a 7211

Many thanks

it needs ATF, Automatic Transmission Fluid. Like GM Dexron 2.
I could notice a dramatic improvement in powersteering performance when i changed back to ATF in the powersteering system. 10w/30 was too sticky when cold.
