7745 brakes

Hi,

I am having some difficulty with my brakes on my 7745. For some time my right hand brake has not worked at all and lately I think my left brake is losing some of its power.
Mounted on the back of the tractor underneath tow seperate plastic covers are what appears to be cylinders of some type which are activated when the brake pedals a pressed. One is nice and dry but the other is wet and oily.
What is the purpose of these particular units and is my problem likely to be related to the leaking unit which is on the right side where I have no brake at all.
Would appreciate any advice here!

Hello. Yes I think the cylinders you talk about are the same thing. I think also there is a nut sticking out from the casting underneath the operating arm of this cylinder where you can make adjustments to the brake disks. At least I think you have disk brakes. Not fantastic but better then the drum brakes on some of the older models.
