Fuel injector return lines on 43-40

I recently noticed that my injector return lines - flexible cloth-covered lines running from the back of the injector pump to #1, 2,3 and ending at #4 injector - are leaking through the cloth covering material. The leak is just seepage - enough to cover the LH side of the engine, but I specualte that it will get worse.

The hose lines have metal crimped ends which attached to the top and front side of each injector. There does not appear to be any place to attach a wrench to remove them.

Can they be replace and how?

low pressure return lines are crimped on like hydraulic lines, just not with a hydraulic press but with a light duty hand wrench crimper.

Ordinary hose clamps (swedish type) will also do, if your local machinery seller doesnt have a crimper wrench.

The rubber of these older zetors is usually crap. Replacing all rubber with stuff like Gates, is the solution for most problems of poor starting engines

Thanks!

Easy change job except for the 2 connections behind the injector pump. Smaller hand and fingers would have been good:)

Thx,
J
