Inner circuit spool valve

Can anyone that has had thier hydraulic distributor apart recently varifyed that the inner circuit spool valve from my 6245 in the picture below is assembled correctly? I am having trouble with my 3pl and as best as I can tell from the workshop manual and parts book, that is correct but I am not 100% sure.

I'm trying to think back to when I had mine apart about 12 months ago, I have a suspicion it goes the other way around, but I could be wrong too!
Is the spring fitted inside the two halves?
What is the actual problem you are having with the linkage?
 
Yes there is a spring between the two halves.
To give you a bit of back ground, the tpl has never worked correctly on this tractor. When I bought it, there was no controll at all, so I removed the hydraulic cover and replaced all the o-rings in the hydraulic distributor and the seals in both rams (main and assist) but it turned out that the link between the inner circuit spool valve and the angular lever (as it is called in the parts book) that operates it had come adrift due to wear on the leavers pivot point. I replaced the angular lever and the pin that the spool valve connects to and that gave me some controll back but the tpl is very slow to rise and does not travel all the way up. Most recently I replaced the changeover pendulum and it's pin as it was very loose and now if anything the problem is worse!
It would be an easy answer if the spool valve was in the wrong way, but the more I think about it the less I am sure it is wrong! Just looking at how the valve is polished from use makes me think it is in the right way, but I would like to be 100% sure before trying anything else.

Just a thought, but the lower link arms have 2 or 3 holes in each one where you can change the position of the links that lift the lower links. If you have them set to the furthest rear position, that will give you your symptoms. You will have heaps of liting power, but no travel.
 
I wish it were that simple, but in my case unfortunately not. I am not getting full travel at the upper arms, probably only about half to two thirds. Definately something wrong with the hydraulic distributor or the mechanism that controls it.
I did find what looks like a steel pin or plug of some sort in the waste oil from when I changed all the o rings in the pump plate which makes me wonder if one of the pressed in plugs in the distributor has worked out. Not sure, and only one way to find out I guess.
I am going to have to try the spool valve in the other direction to see what difference that makes anyway so the top will have to come off again :(
Worst case scenario I can get an entire new hydraulic distributor for 600 euro but I would rather avoid that if possible
 
I assume you have already read the chapter in the manual re setting up the travel of the arms?
Never tried to do it myself, but was interesting reading ;)
 
Oh, one more thought! The bolt holding the tube that the linkage control rod passes through into the side of the top cover isn't loose is it? That will give these symptoms.
 
Tried both those things. It's amazing how complicated the manual makes a simple procedure sound! I got a little more travel but when I put the quadrant lever cover back on what I gained was lost as it limits the travel of the inner circuit leaver somewhat.

Yes, my thoughts exactly!
i guess it would be easier to follow with the parts in front of you, but i find the description (English translation from Cz i guess) of the components to be very confusing.
 
The whole manual is like that, but once you actually have a go with the tractor in front of you, it's not too bad.

The lever is adjustable from memory, there are 1 or 2 bolts down near the pivot you can loosen and make it so you can get more travel one way or the other.
 
I did see that, but couldn't see how it adjusted as there didn't appear to be a slot to alow for movement. I'll have another look though, thanks. I also tried taking the lever off the shaft to rotate it on the spline, but the spline is indexed so no joy there.
Give it a couple of weeks untill I have time to pull the top cover off again and I'll try a few other things. There are some other worn leavers and pivots that I saw last time I was in there that I would like to replace.
