Mounting a mower on 7745

Hi,
I have a ZTR 165 rotary drum mower. When I attache this to my 7745 and swing it into the mowing position, I have a problem where by the steel cover on the mower comes in contact with the rear wheel of the tractor and gets damaged as a result.

Any ideas out there on how I could overcome this problem. I need to be able to push the back at least 50 to 60 mm on the arms to get enough clearance from the tractor rear wheel.

Is there any such thing as extentions for the lift arms which might help me?

Thanks for any tips you can give me.

Paddy

I have bamfords mower, identical to zetor ;) that has 2 positions for mounting one to offset to the left (for small tractor) and one to offset to the right( big tractor) this gives enough clearance for the wheel either on the outside (big tractor) or the inside (small tractor) it is basically 4 pins for linkage;) one set about 7 inches more to the left than the other set of pins;) fella, jf ,kuhn ,bamfords,vicon,mesko-roll also sell this mower with different names;) (it is unclear who actually make them:()

Zetormatic,

Thank you for that info. I must have a look again at the mower when I gat home from the day job.
What you are saying I guess, is that there is adjustmant within the mower itself, to give scope to push it more to the right (in my case) as in my case, the outside of the right rear wheel is causing me the problem.

Rgds.

Yes but it is not "adjustment" it is completely different place to mount linkage;) BUT it is possible that they have been removed from the mower:sneaky:

You need to adjust the stabiliser bars (are they there?) after you mount the mower in transport position.
First remove the pins which stop them telescoping in & out.
Park the tractor on a slope so the mower is already a little more to the right - put your pins back in if you can, if they won't mate with a hole adjust the large nuts on the end of the stabiliser.
You can gain even more side shift by turning those nuts some more after you have the pins secure.

These ZTR165 mowers marketed under various brand names are manufactured by Agrosroj Pelhrimov in Czech Republic
