Hello, The Engine Oil filling point on my 6245 is partially blocked by the front loader arm. Wrestling with a full 20 barrel of STOU Oil is unpleasant so I just wondered if anyone has a 'recommended method' for transferring oil into the various awkward filling holes on their tractors?

Thanks, Robert

Your engine doesn't need the full of a drum. My HSX when I have the hedgecutting guards on the tractor in the winter makes it hard to open the bonnet up high, so I use a flexi pipe funnel and just extend the pipe with a meter of rubber milk hose out of a milking parlour

Rob, I have a tap on the barrel and a 2L measuring cup that I use to transfer the water... and yes, it takes a while, but it's not necessary that often.
