Hi all,

I've just joined the forum and have the chance at a 5748. In the past I've had David Browns. I'm looking for a 4wd, is the 5758 any good or shoud I be looking at another model? Want to do it up and just put it to light work. Also, what sort of prices do they acheive? Kind rgds, Spud

we used to have david browns.... 990, 995, 1210 and 1212 but found as we got newer the cabs wouldnt fit under some of our sheds.... then we aquired some zetors a 4912, 6711 and 8011 all are only 2wd... duncan cabs on the two little ones which go under all the sheds now ive retired from agriculture the dbs have gone but have kept the zetors , 4912 has got a hedgetrimmer on , 6711 has a flail mower on most of the time , but is small enough to do the veg patch with a 70 inch howard rotavator,...they both seem smaller and more manouverable than the dbs were... 8011 is a fair bit bigger and heavier though.

both the dbs and zetors have allways been cheaper to buy (usually at auctions) than other makes... spares are as easy to get and they seem just as well built and reliable as anything else.

............. thanks ricc I'll have a good look at this one.
