Hi All,

another query for my 7211...

last owner put 18.4r30 tyres on the rear to increase road speed but has also increased height.
I have found this leaves the rear axle quite high for hitching trailers and three point linkage, as I am only using around the yard so don't need high road speed i was thinking of dropping to 16.9r28 (same as my previous 6718.
i'm looking to keep the machine as original as possible and was wondering if anyone knew what options were available from the factory and/or whether my choice would leave tractor too low

You can also simply take a look at your tractor instructions book.

There will be a table with all allowed dimensions: table 13 - tecnical master parameters

So you can see, its a default option. But - if you change the rear tyres to 16.9-28 you will also have to change the front tyres from 20" to 16". Otherwise the tratcor looks a little bit ... wrong with to big tyres in the front.

it currently has 7.50-16 on front with 18.4-30 on back, so looks a bit silly with rear sitting too high in current setup!
my main worry was that changing to 16.9-28 on rear would look too small within wheel arches, but think should be okay

Ok, with 7.50-16 it will work, no problem.

So it was original 7.5-16 and 16.9-30 original, that makes sense. :like

16.9-28 looks like this (its my Zetor 5011, with 420/85R28 / 16.9-28 at rear axle and 7.50-16 at front:

Its OK for me and better than the former used 12.4-32 tyres on my Zetor 5011

comparsation from behind - 16.9-28 vs 12.4-32
