Hi all,
Just after a bit of advice. One of the hinges broke on the rear window of my 6320 Zetor . The hinge broke in the middle so one half is stuck to the glass and the other is on the frame of the cab. I had fierce difficulty getting it off. First of all the hinge pin on the cab side was siezed solid and I hadn't the proper tools to remove. I had no choice but to take the hinge off the glass side. The hinge is mounted with stud with flat head screwdriver head and locknut. Again, this was siezed solid. The larger screwdriver I had was nowhere big enough to hold while I tried to loosen the locknut on the opposite side.
I ended up having to break off the plastic retaining ring around the screw head so that I could hold the screw with vice grips.
I finally managed to get the window off. I now have a bit to do to repair.
Do you know if the hinge set comes with the following:
Hinge
Hinge pin
Screw to mount hinge to glass
Plastic retaining ring for around screw head
Also, is there any advice on removing the siezed hinge pin?
Thanks in advance for any advice.
