Spool valves on 7340

I have just bought a secong hand 7340 and trying to use it on a bale wrapper. NO User manual. Can anyone please explain the setup of the spool valves. There are three couplers on the back marked 0, 1, 2. Also inside the cab is a lever with position for 1 and 2. Which coupler on the back is the return and how can I can I set up a permanante flow without holding the internal lever. I hope this makes sense.

We use either a rubber rope to hold the lever in position, or put a door hinge (tack welded to the panel) behind it. Rubber is best though because the cab is rubber mounted and moves in relation to the levers.

The 0 is free return, used with hydromotors etcetera that have a leak line
