Spool valves on 7340

I have just bought a secong hand 7340 and trying to use it on a bale wrapper. NO User manual . Can anyone please explain the setup of the spool valves. There are three couplers on the back marked 0, 1, 2. Also inside the cab is a lever with position for 1 and 2. Which coupler on the back is the return and how can I can I set up a permanante flow without holding the internal lever. I hope this makes sense.

We use either a rubber rope to hold the lever in position, or put a door hinge (tack welded to the panel) behind it. Rubber is best though because the cab is rubber mounted and moves in relation to the levers.

The 0 is free return, used with hydromotors etcetera that have a leak line
