Hi. Had no brakes on right side, replaced both master cyls today, bled the system at the top of the portals, but still no brakes, and lost the brake at the left side also.. The pedals feels spongy until they almost touch the floor, then there is some resistance. If I disconnect the pedals from eachother, and apply pressure to one of them, then the other, the pedal i apply the most pressure to seems to push the other pedal out, is this normal? If I pump left pedal while bleeding right side, brake fluid is coming out at the right portal, is this supposed to happen ??

Hi

Make sure the master cyl push rods are adjusted so that the cyl pistons return fully. It sounds like they need bleeding again or you have a leak at the wheel cyls.
When you press the other side pedal it pushes the balance valve piston across on the back of the m/cyls.

I adjusted the master cyl push rods so that the cyl pistons return fully when i replaced the master cyls. Is it suffient to bleed the system by pumping the brake pedals? Should i bleed other places than at the portals ?? Will give it another try later this week. Tnx for the help .
