UR1 series fuel pump cold start

Is the cold start button on the UR1 series the round pin through the hex but on the left hand side of the pump?
Is so should the nut be free to turn or done up tight?

yes and it is not reale a nut so you cant do it up tigt.

Cold start button still works just wanted to know if tightening would affect anything else in the pump.

Nut is counternut used for lock of thread under nipple with button. Position of thread affects maximal injected fuel quantity (set from factory). Unthreading increase maximal quantity (more power, more smoke etc...).
