thanks, it was a lot of work, it was in very bad shape, i has one contractor owner from new, it has a 40k box in it

Pat, My 6340 is a much newer model, but has suffered being parked for 6 years in this wet Canada west coast weather. I'm trying to get everything loosened up and working and hope no major internal parts need repair or replacement. The engine runs good. Biggest problem is a frozen clutch.

I have never bothered with paint, but after looking at your beautiful job, maybe someday I will get into restoration. We do have a local hobby group here in this small community of 1000 persons. They are mostly working on cars/trucks.

zetors do look well with a lick of paint, it taken me about 2 week to do that job, it hard to say at it, as the customer is contractor he was under pressure looking for it, i did the mud guards first then he wanted it back for a week then he gave it back to me again.
i also have a Zetor 8145, which i started restoring last year, i still haven't got it finished but it is looking well, just to get time and money to go back at it.

yes a carry out all repairs myself as i am a mechanic, on the 8145 i had a steering problem, i removed complete steering box and front axle and fitted a ram and welded a bracket to hold ram, fitted a steering unit of a combine under compressor, the only help i got was my brother to fit the front axle back on to tractor. i did rear brakes myself and everything else. The 12111 was mechanically perfect apart from a bit of wiring , all is left to do now is a brake light switch, door latches and the hooks on the pick up hitch are wore, i am in the process of locating parts to finish it. it is gone back to it owner for now
