Right brake seem to be holding all the time-heated up on me when driving it home yesterday-had to get it hauled in the rest of the way. How involved is it to dig into the brake problem--also right brake wants to hang in down position and not return to top once it is pressed.

search various forum subjects about brakes on how to get to them.

What i allways do is sandpaper the hinge holes in the aluminium brake shoes larger, and put a good amount of copper grease on the hinge pins. that keeps them from sticking, the tractors i've done brakes on, keep working flawlessly. If you dont give the holes in the aluminium some extra play, they are prone to oxidize solid on their pins when not used often.

Thanks-good info-hope mine is that simple--now gotta figure out how to get into the brakes.
