Zetor 5211

I bought a zetor 5211 recently its a 1990 and ive done a bit of looking and it doesnt have the 1000 540 rpm pto speed change does anyone know how i change to 540 because its in 1000 and i need 540

There should be a lever between your legs on the floor turns left to right to put it into 1000 rpm. It's right up against the rubber panel and behind the hi/lo selector.

Ya thats what i thought but theres nothing there. There is space for it. When i looked it was full of straw and muck so i cleaned it and all thats there is the top of the gearbox

Your tractor might never had the lever, so you may need to see if that cover can be opened first and inside you need to change the shaft ends manually for 1000 rpm.

Did some zetors come without the lever to change from 1000 to 540 and vise versa. Is it a hard job to lift the top cover??

If there is no leverage, you can change the shaft ends manually for 1000 rpm.
