Hello ,
I am a new member of Zetor world , I came across the site and this forum as I was looking for technical information in regards to rebuilding the cylinder head on a Zetor engine.
The engine comes from a Long 900 tractor which I think has an Ursus Z7501 motor which shares the same engine parts as the Z8001 found in the Zetor 8011. I was trying to find out:
The recess measurement of the valves below the plane of the head surface and also information on rebuilding the head.
Best regards

We have planed several 8011 heads over the years and we have never had a problem with valves touching pistons.
Valve guides push out fairly easily, and it's rare to have to re-seat and replace the valves. Otherwise it is pretty straightforeward and easy to do up.
