Ok guys, it has been discussed often, but i think its time to get it done one of these days:

How do you install an electric feed pump in the tank, where do you attach the electric connections, and which part # of what manufacturer is the easiest fit ?

Renze, I would think very carefully about fitting an electric pump in the tank, several would work like the ones in TD5 engined Landrovers or the subaru legacy, But, I would have thought it was far simpler and cheaper to fit an "off the shelf" electric petrol pump for a car from your local automotive parts store and mount it under the bonnet, simply plumbing it into the fuel suction pipe. Then go to the fuse box and find a fuse that is live when the key is in and wire it to that.

i agree with dave, just fit external pump and bypass mech pump and bowl. i fitted mine where waterbag goes. i used a dodge ram diesel pump i had lying around shop. works great!

What are the specs on the pumps you are using? I looked into using an after market type a while ago and, as I recall, couldn't find any with the same flow and output pressure as the Zetor optional unit. The Allied loader on my 3340 makes accessing the hand pump nearly impossible with cold fingers.
Thanks
