On 7245 do you have to stop and clutch before putting into 4wd or would it do damage to put it in without stopping as it seems to go into 4wd easier if you dont stop
Similarly do you have to stop and clutch before taking out of 4wd?
any advice welcome

The front headlights on our 92 7245 are constantly filling up with water .
Ive tried emtying them and cleaning them out and reassembling but after a few days they are half full of water again.
Ive looked carefully at the lenses and there are no cracks so I cant figure where water is...

Would you know where the magnetic filter is on 7245 as you have 5245 and would probably be similar and also if oil has to be removed before draining ?

Where is the magnetic filter located underneath the tractor? I must check our 7245 out as lift is bit slow when lifting heavy bales also

Weve had this problem with our 7245 which would have same 4wd front axle as yours.
Driving along steering would suddenly veer to the right every few miles, very unnerving.

DEAR ALL
am finding it very hard to disingage 4wd on our 7245 .
Will ingage no problem at all but when you pull up handle to disingage it wont lock up into place sometimes and then other times works ok.
What is prpoer procedure before ingaging should hi-low gear lever on floor be in neutral or...
