Yes - take off the bolts. You can pull out the PTO shaft without anything dropping out. Unless yours is different than the 3320. So just put pressure on the shaft in while you pull off the cover.

Perhaps forterra11441 is correct but my PTO/hydraulics were doing really odd things besides jumping out of gear - and replacing a broken circlip fixed it. It is a 15 minute easy job to check and change if necessary.

If it has not already been suggested remove the cover plate for the PTO shaft and see if the retaining circlip is broken. A shot in the dark but this solved some similar problems on my 3320.

Hey Renze, My neighbor is only getting around to addressing the pump issue now. He filled the pump's reservoir with the correct amount type of oil and ran it. The #3 injector is not delivering fuel. Is your advice the same - refill with diesel and let it run for a while? Thanks again, Tony

Mix 1/2 acetone with 1/2 automatic transmission fluid. Apply to injector and let sit for 15 to 30 minutes. Tony

Do you have the old rims? If so go to Pull-A-Part and find some correct sized rims, grind the welds off of both inners to the outers and have them welded. That's what I'm going to have to do with my Pasquali.

Steve - I don't remember the number but call them with your serial number. They know what they are doing and I'd be real surprised if they sent you the incorrect kit.

I got the kit for my 3320 from Ridgeway in Arkansas. Little hint - change the packing with the cylinder mounted. Don't try to do it off the tractor unless you have the correct tools.

I got the optional plate for a home made loader for our 3320. You could drill out your old plate and mess around for weeks. But do yourself a favor and just spend the money - you'll be happy you did.

A few years back when my lift pump seized on the 3320 I took it apart, put the piston in a drill, applied some valve grinding compound and honed the cylinder with the piston. Worked great. Still works great. Tony

Renze's advice to check the leftmost detent spring on the bolt on the cab floor is the easiest. Then try looking at the snap-ring at the back where the PTO exits. That's about a 15 minute job and can be done in a hurry. Between those two I'd guess your chances of success are about 90%. Tony
