Hi, all,
I've been using Agip toria 11 80w in the back end for some time and had no probs. but I was wondering as the price of this has gone thro. the roof if I could use any 80w/90.
Les

yes, no problem. Any 80w/90 gear oil, or any multipurpose STOU oil between 10w/40 and 15w/30 is o.k.

Make sure you use this multipurpose agricultural oil, engine oil shifts when inside a cold transmission case, and foams when used for hydraulics. Engine oils can be easily confused with STOU oils because the viscosity is described in similar manner.

Thanks for reply Renze,

It is confusing the different oils, the only difference it seems is the word "multifunctional" with the viscosity the same for the two types.

Cheers Les
