news Found Czech info.... (Hot rumor !!)

Hey guys i found this article:
I translated parts of it, word by word, using slovnik.cz translation.

It seems to say:

====..The Proxima range has wet lamella brakes for the 40 km/h version. A 50 km/h version will need front axle brakes to comply to the legislations.... (But will there ever BE a 50 km/h version ???)

About the rumor about the Forterra range being lifted up to 160 hp making use of a new Zetor engine, Chief director of Zetor, ing. Vratislava Goje, says that we can welcome the new range of tractors within 2 years.
The new engine will also be fitted in the Forterra range.??? For the models of 120 hp model 11741, this will make it unncessary to fit the Italian Same engine. ???

======This translation is very speculative, to be honest i have a hard time trying to construct a word-by-word translation into a phrase... so dont yell it off the streets !!

Is there anyone that can make a better translation ?? (there will be LOTs of people ;))

Hey Markku, how many 3 meter harrows are available near you ?

Perhaps you could hang 3 identical units of 3 meter harrows in one frame, i suppose 3 meter machines are a lot cheaper !!

Idea is good, but... what do you think about costs? I must built the frame, side block lifting system, draw bar and height adjustment wheels (least 8 pcs). Old harrows doesnt have plainig bar in front of the harrow or decent after mixer either. Those should be built too 69)

But second hand harrows are about 8000 euros to 12 000 euros. there is one finnish made harrow 7 to 8m harrow (new) that is only 12 000 euros, but it looks (and it is) rubbish. I can make better one by myself easily.

I think I must do some calculating, but there is no much time.... its should be done before end of the May :sneaky:

Does anybody have some good ideas?

Over here, most 3 meter manure injectors are out of the grace, and good Vredo machines can be bought for 500 Euro. I have been thinking of building two 3 meter machines into 1 foldable frame, because 6 meter Vredo machines go for 4500 Euro.... A 6 meter amchine could also be rented out to other farmers around... Anyways because there are some changes to come on our farm i wont invest in anything now.

Yes if 3 meter machines are still popular, and worth a lot of money, it is no use buying two and make your own frame...

What type of harrow are you looking at ??

Markku,

I can recommed Multiva. Potila or Vderstad are also good ones but I think that multiva has got better price/quality relation.

You probably have seen these our clips (zts 16245 + 8m multiva), check http://www.salmentila.com/albumi.html and click estyst.

I solved my problem yesterday, and bought 2. hand Vamo harrow... Its swedish made 6.8 m wide harrow and it looks like ok. All vderstad harrows were too expensive. Older NZ models were cheaper, but those are not very useful for us. I didnt found any multiva as 2. hand......

I think the new transmission will be maked by ZETOR . In the czech magazine Mechanizace zemedelstvi no. 1/2001 wrote M. Lukes from ZETOR that they are preraring new tranmission for ZETOR UR I. It will be with 4 gears in two ranges with 2-step powershift. First three gears will be reversable with the lever on the left side.Total 16F/12R. It will have 7 gears between 4-12 kmh in 30 km version. Gears will be shifting with 2 levers and powershift with button (like new Forterra). They wrote that there will be just one clutch, PTO will be setting by other multi-plate clutch.
This is my first message in english, please excuse my english.

P.S. We have a ZETOR 8011 rebuilt to 4WD, produces in 1972 in good condition.

Greets Miro, Slovakia.

Yes i have heard that too... That will be a transmission the Forterra range, but with one less powershift step. It will be used in the Proxima, to start with the 9441 to be introduced in early 2005.

However i cant see the point of this, it would be more economical to sell 3 cylinder Forterras in the same hp class, the one less cylinder would save more costs than the one less powershift step. Euro2 engines need the turbo anyhow, so it is easyto get a bit more boost from a 3 cylinder engine.

But nobody knows anything about a new transmission for a range up to 200 hp....

Hi Renze,

Well i dont know if you have seen my other post regarding the 2 masseys i have just bought, however my days of being a zetor owner are coming to an end, i have aways had a soft spot for them, good cheap tractors that dont cost must to run, the forterras have and continue to be great, but i need more power and a slightly better gearbox before i buy anymore.

This why i have just bought 2 new massys as i can have the 6 pot engine and a good gearbox. Zetor if you are watching these websites COME ON hurry up else you are going to lose my custom for GOOD!!!!!!

Anyone want a good 10245 with not too many hours on the clock they know where they need to come.

Anyway i have had my rant for tonight.

PS the pistons were bowled out and the thicker of the 2 head gaskets was fitted so said my fitter who done the work.
