do I need to lift the floor to get into these things? I just got this tractor and the manual shows nothing about this.
Has anyone had this problem to? is it easy to fix?
just hit a six inch nail into the lever, worked for me too. You can do this maybe even without removing the cab floor, cant remember its 10 years ago. But sure you dont need to open the transmission.
Officially it should be mounted on the shaft with a spring C-pin. wood nail works too.
weird thing is when I push the lever forward until it touches the end of the slot, I can hear the gear starting to crunch but it can't go any further forward to engage.
These tractors seem to break really easily.
You'll need the floor out as it's as quick as trying to fiddle the pin in. They only break when you've had a double breakfast for extra strength or your wife has wound you up and you take it out on the poor old Zetor !!!
Yup, you shouldnt use your foot shifting it. 69)
If you cant get it into gear, try to shift while the tractor is slightly moving, so the gears are rotating slightly and grab easier.
This was very easy to fix, 20 mins to get the floor out and 30 scents for two high tensile strength bolts to hold the levers in place. 10 mins to build back up. It would be good if we could add pictures to this forum.
