PTO Keeps Disengaging

I have a 5211, I can get the PTO to engage By pulling the Clutch and shift once up. It will work well for a while the kick out of gear, that is the only one it does it in, the other gears work well. I have checked the DETENTS and springs it seems to be loose in that gear. What is wrong with it? what can i do to fix this without real expensive costs. Another thing how pointy are the DETENTS supposed to be? The one on the PTO controls isnt that pointy if that makes sense. Someone please help

You mean the spring loaded balls ? they arent expensive so why not try to screw a new one in ? its just a single bolt.

Yea you are right, i ordered them yesterday hoping that will fix it (waiting on them to be shipped). I just wanted to see what everyones thoughts were on this problem. Im also going to put in a new hand clutch cable (mine is really diffucult to opperate). I have just bought the tractor couple of months ago, awesome tractor.
