Hi, just new to this lot so here goes. I have an issue with my zetor 7045. brakes are none existant but hand brake works. i wish to strip them down and sort out. just wondered if anyone has attempted this or has a video on how to. I have search net etc but can only find comments stating how poor the brakes are but nothing on how to fix or sort. Any help would be fantastic. Can i get to brakes with out taking wheels off or not etc. Cheers, Jim???

search brake replacement with the Google on-site search.

No you cant, you have to take the wheel and the portal (final drive) off. So you need either workshop engine hoist, another tractor with frontloader or a forklift to lift it from underneath the mudguards.

Thanks for quick reply. When i google on the site for brake replacement i cant find one specific to 7045. Is the process the same for most models? We have a fork left so can use that. Can i ask is there just brakes on the rear wheels? regards, jim.

the principle of replacing is the same from 3011 to 5340. The 7745 and model 1992 6340/7340 came standard with the same disk brakes as the 8011 Crystal. These were optional on the 7245 by the way.

the diameter of all brake drums since the 9 series is the same, i believe. The 4712 was a stretched 3011 with a bored block.

going to have to do the same no brakes whatsoever on my new purchase.

Any links, Photos etc.

Also, what where is the best 8011 manual in good engish?
